To address complex challenges, consulting with other departments, agencies, citizen groups, communities, experts, or functional specialists can offer new perspectives and new insights. Furthermore, working collaboratively can reduce barriers and open new doors when pursuing common goals.
This third event in the Government of the Future Series explores some of the ways that public servants can collaborate more effectively with stakeholders internal and external to the public service. Guest speakers will explore leading thinking on collaboration, models and frameworks to reduce barriers to collaboration, and in what situations they can best be deployed. They will also highlight the challenges and opportunities that arise from working collaboratively.
Participants will learn about best practices for collaboration in a government context, along with strategies to promote collaboration and when to use them.
