As government works in an increasingly complex context, it is critical that public service managers develop the literacy and competency to effectively implement transformations in their departments. This course will give managers the skills they need to understand the nature of complex environments and why they are subject to change, as well as the key fundamental principles of managing change in these environments. Participants will also gain insight into the complexity of the learner's context - both individually and as a group - key psychological levers for managing change, and the responsibility of public service managers to be an active advocate of change.
