This course addresses the basic concepts and responsibilities related to government procurement projects. You will learn about the key elements underpinning the policies and practices of procurement in the federal government.

This course is open to all public servants and forms part of the Required Training for Procurement Specialists under the Treasury Board Directive on the Administration of Required Training. It is also recognized by the Certification Program for the Federal Government Procurement and Materiel Management Communities, which is managed by the Treasury Board Secretariat.
