To do their jobs effectively, public service managers are expected to have a solid understanding of their roles, responsibilities and accountabilities. Module 3 of Authority Delegation Training focuses on the rules and activities that govern the activities of managers and executives. Participants will learn about the process of conferring responsibilities and accountabilities and the key roles and players involved in the machinery of government.

Topics include:

  • understanding how government works
  • identifying the key roles and players in the machinery of government
  • reviewing the process of conferring responsibilities and accountabilities

Notes:

To complete this training, participants must finish all eight modules of the Authority Delegation Training course. The course evaluation will only be forwarded upon the completion of Module 8.
