Public service employees who work closely with Indigenous Peoples require the cultural competencies needed to build positive and respectful relationships. This two-day interactive course supports the development of cultural competencies by instilling the principles of the Community Development and Capacity Building Framework. Participants will learn how to better support healthy and productive working relationships with Indigenous Peoples and their communities.
This course was developed jointly by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada and the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch at Health Canada.
