Communication Styles at Work

The purpose of this session is to raise participants' awareness of the various communication styles and their own unique communication preferences. This workshop is designed to help public servants increase their communication efficiency at work and better understand interactions with their colleagues.

Participants will learn about their personal communication styles; how to recognize and appreciate personal differences; and how to adapt their behaviour to interact more effectively and build stronger relationships with their colleagues. This learning activity will also examine elements from the Insights Discovery assessment, a tool that analyzes an individual's behaviour to help improve workplace communication, decision making and performance.

This workshop is ideal for teams who want to learn how to work better together and who would benefit from a team-building activity.
