Leadership Series: Women Who Lead: Celebrating International Women's Day 2022

Description

The Government of Canada's theme for International Women's Day 2022 is Women Inspiring Women. It celebrates all the women and girls who inspire us by demonstrating leadership in the choices they make in their day-to-day lives to contribute to the social, economic, cultural, and political spheres.

This event features special guest Rose M. Patten, O.C., LL.D, who will draw upon her own leadership journey to offer insights on what is required of leaders today, how one can stand apart, and the importance of supporting others and our communities.

Leaders at all levels and from every background will benefit from her perspectives and guidance, gathered throughout her remarkable 30-year career as a senior leader in the Canadian financial services industry.

Chancellor of the University of Toronto, Dr. Patten is committed to helping others succeed, serving as a role model, mentor and advocate for women leaders. She is a respected authority on the study and practice of leadership, and her advice is highly valued in the fields of leadership development and succession, strategy execution, and governance. Her influence spans the business, academic, public and voluntary sectors.
