Learning path for students

Whatever your role and wherever you work within the federal public service, your work as a student contributes to improving the lives of Canadians. The following learning path is your reference to learning what you need to do to be your best.

Along the way, you will find a multitude of resources and learning opportunities to acquire the basic knowledge needed by all public servants. There are also a variety of tools to support your work in a virtual work environment.

New public servants must create a GCcampus account to complete and obtain the certificates for these courses.

Required training

The following courses are the first ones you should take. They are essential learning for all public service employees.

Recommended learning path

This learning path was created specifically to integrate students into the public service during COVID-19. Your organization may offer other training courses than these, so please discuss this first with your immediate supervisor.
